Hey,
I've finished MVP of my slack application called Edited and would like to ask you what do you think about it.
A few words about this app:
This Slack application can display history of edited message in any direct/group channel it has been added to.
The main idea is provide access to all edit's history because sometime is contains valuable information and Slack does not provide this functionality.
All messages' history are encrypted and stored in a database.
Please check out Edited, install to your Slack workspace and let me know any feedback what do you think about this.
Thank you
Hi Alexandr,
A few things now but I'll check your landing page again tomorrow.
I know it's pretty similar with what you have now but you grab the attention easier with a question and also you make them thinking about this.
Of course in this case also the supporting text should be changed to something similar to the headline.
Try to add some social proof under the hero area (if possible)
I would change the way that you show the steps there
It's pretty hard to see exactly the steps. Like you have to click on the photo, zoom it, and so on.
It will be better if you could have a structure like this:
Step 1 image | Step 1 text
Step 1 text | Step 1 image
Step 1 image | Step 1 text
You got it.
Great product by the way. Good luck!
Thank you for your advice and feedback.
I've updated the hero title as you suggested. It sounds great - will see.
I'm glad I helped you. It looks really nice. I also noticed that you updated the steps - now you can see exactly how easier is to start using the product.
Do you need help with something else?
Yes, If you use Slack you can install this application and check how this application works. Does it cover your use cases?
Well, we use Slack but we are a pretty small team. So I don't think we really need a feature like this right now.
I love it. Only thing I'd suggest is a bit more horizontal padding. The text feels way too close to the edge of my browser window ;)
Are you talking about a landing page, the slack application or the screenshot for this post?)
