Hi to all! My name is Ruben and I am looking for feedback on my app and landingpage.
With Useridea, I want to help product managers to get the bigger picture on feedback.
Feedback is scattered all over the place (Facebook, email, phone).
It is collected in outdated Excels which nobody wants to update.
All of this makes it difficult for digital product managers to get the bigger picture.
What features do your customers really want? What should be the next thing that we are building?
With Useridea you can collect all feedback in a single location.
You can validate assumptions and prioritize your roadmap based on user needs.
Last but not least, you can notify customers swiftly when their idea is developed.
Get the bigger picture on customer feedback.
I'm not a native English speaker and the content is currently with a Fiverr proofreader, hope it's not too bad.
Check out the landing page and app. The software is free up to 50 likes a month. Looking forward to hearing from you πͺ

If you want a quick gut-check on whether the landing page/message for Useridea actually makes sense to people who arenβt already in your head, Iβve had good luck running headline/value-prop tests on tractionway.com. It gets you feedback from verified strangers in a few hours and you can see what they think you do vs what you meant (plus itβs surfaced a couple warm leads for me when people said they wanted updates).
I'm a product manager myself and I can say that the idea resonates with me. However I think there a few things you can do to make your marketing page more effective
Hope this helps :) good luck!
Goede morgen Samuel! Fellow Dutchman here π³π±
Thanks for your feedback. See below my notes:
Hi π³π±,
Good stuff :)
Bedankt!
Thanks for your additional thoughts, will look in this :)
This is a very nice landing page. Clean, professional, and I think it explains what your product does very nicely. Even though it is a long page, it is interesting and you explain various benefits as you scroll down.
Some minor things - The customer testimonial is in a serif font, whereas the rest of the site uses a nice sans serif font. This was a bit jarring for me. Perhaps choose a more complementary serif font, or use sans serif for this bit as well?
I know you said you were not a native English speaker, and I think it will pay to have someone who is a good speaker to go through and just make tiny changes here and there. (e.g. change "5 minute[s] installation" to "5 minute installation" etc.
The only bit I couldn't quite understand, and that might need rewording is "customers you want to admit in your house of ideas". I know what you are trying to say, but I think your choice of words can be better. Other than that, I love the style in which you speak for the rest of the page - it is a nice, friendly, conversational style that is engaging and interesting.
Good luck with UserIdea. We may even take a look at it for our SaaS in order to get customer feedback.
Cool! It is awesome to hear to it's long but interesting π
See below my remarks:
Testimonial font: I am used to putting quotes in a serif font, but can understand this sets off with the rest of the page (as nothing is in this font). Do you know of any complementary serif font or shall I just change it to the font of the rest of the page?
English speaker: Yeah definitely! I have hired a Fiverr copywriter which is working on the text as we speak. I was so eager to not wait for him to already get feedback haha.
Meantime I already fixed the installation message!
Thanks for all your feedback and comments. If you have any questions or if there is anything that I can help you with to get started for your SaaS. Feel free to reach out!
Thanks for you comments!
The landing page looks good to me!
I wonder, though, how you are going to be different from existing players...
Thanks for your feedback!
This is something that never stops. Few things that I am doing:
In the end it all matters on personal taste. Each product has its look and feel in the nitty-gritty. For example, when looking for an accounting saas, I tried many multinational ones and in the end took a local small company that produced a solution that I liked and worked well for me.
I think this is pretty cool. Here are some thoughts-
Does a user have to enter their idea through your service? Or can you load in an excel sheet or link to a facebook comment thread or something? That is, is there a way to "bulk upload" ideas?
Also, have you considered a feature like having templates for ideas? This might be useful because lots of software projects on github have very specific templates to follow for feature requests (or bugs).
I think the landing page looks great btw. Only thing I would change is making the top header span the width of the page.
Great ideas, thank you for sharing! See below my comments:
Bulk upload: Yes definitely this would be helpful. I already have an option to write multiple ideas at once during the onboarding process, but not yet outside of that. I will add a bulk upload option that also enables excel/CSV uploads. I have added it to the roadmap: https://ideas.useridea.io/idea/258/bulk-upload-of-multiple-ideas
Connecting idea to a Facebook thread: I think this is a great idea and can see this working. As a first step, I would like to add a link to the thread for the admin to see. I have added this idea here: https://ideas.useridea.io/idea/257/connect-an-idea-to-a-facebook-post
Templates: Yeah can understand that would be interesting. I was thinking about flexible additional fields per idea. Before adding it, do you think that the template differs per type of feedback? So would someone ask different data/fields per type, or would one template be enough?
Landing page: Sweet, thanks! I will change the header span to full width. Although I don't like this myself so much visually, this is something multiple people have mentioned ;)

To come back to your ideas:
I have implemented connecting to Facebook threads π
https://ideas.useridea.io/idea/257/connect-an-idea-to-a-facebook-post
I have implemented adding ideas (and users) in bulk πͺ
https://ideas.useridea.io/idea/258/bulk-upload-of-multiple-ideas
I really like the idea of getting customer feedback and using it to prioritize a roadmap.
I'd be curious to know what you feel like sets you apart from other companies. Are you familiar with canny.io? They did an IH Podcast a while back https://www.indiehackers.com/podcast/124-sarah-hum-of-canny
I think the landing page looks pretty good and there's definitely a need for more products like this, so good luck with growing it!
Thanks for your feedback!

Maybe you can clarify a bit how your solution works.
At first i thought you aggregated information from different sources like facebook, email etc... but instead you offer a place for users to leave feedback?
Good point. It's both π
Users are suggested to leave their feedback at the portal, but I believe a lot of feedback will also come from outside of the portal.
Therefore it will be possible to reference to specific webpages or email ticket-numbers. At the bottom of this comment-thread, you can see how I created two ideas from @psehgal.
Does this clarify the solution?
Any ideas how I can clarify this further on the landing page?

Pricing chart lists 'Up to 50 monthly likes' while email subscription has the 'up to 100 idea' copy
Good find! Just fixed that.
It only seems quite long at the moment. Any ideas to improve that?
"Start for free with unlimited ideas and 50 monthly likes"
