Roast my Trending Crypto News Aggregator site 🔥

https://www.bitcoinmonkey.org/

I originally created this website only for me, because I was tired of browsing 30+ websites, and RSS readers are not helpful to highlight what's trending.

I collect news from multiple sources, get their engagement on various social media at various times after their publication, and calculate a "score" for each of them.

Planning to create a daily newsletter out of it, but I still have to fine tune the site and the algorithm to calculate the scores.

    woah! looks intense:

🔥UI Clarity and Simplification: The current interface is quite dense with information, which can be overwhelming for new users. Simplifying the design and reducing cognitive load by introducing more white space and clearly defined sections can help users digest information more easily. Use visual hierarchy to guide users' attention to the most important elements, such as trending news and market updates.

🔥Clear Call-to-Action (CTA) for Newsletter: There is no clear CTA for the newsletter subscription on the Home screen. Adding a prominent, eye-catching button or banner that invites users to subscribe can help increase sign-ups. This CTA should communicate the value of the newsletter (e.g., 'Get the latest crypto insights directly to your inbox').

🔥Content Hierarchy: Prioritize content based on what's most important for new users to see. The current layout has a lot of competing elements. Establish a clear hierarchy, making it easy for users to find the most recent and important news first, followed by market data and other resources.

🔥Personalization: Introduce features that allow users to customize their news feed or select topics of interest, which can create a more personalized experience and encourage engagement.

Lmk what you think and hope this helps!

I was finally able to update the layout with a (hopefully) better UI, easier to the eye, with just a bit more white space, slightly better hierarchy, and a less intrusive right sidebar.

Thanks, there is some invaluable feedback here and I will definitely try to do some adjustments to fix that.

UI Clarity and Simplification and Content Hierarchy surely need to be improved.

The newsletter is not active yet, so there is no CTA for now. I first want to fine-tune the algorithm that choses top news, which will help me find good stuff to put in the newsletter.

Personalization is something already in my backlog, but it's quite complex to develop. My main focus right now are improving the algorithm for top news, improving UI/UX, create original content for the newsletter, and build a small user base.

If I will be able to start monetizing this, then I can focus on more advanced features.

      Thanks again!

Hey @stefa_no just from the getgo I was super confused from the site. I opened it an I didn't know what was happening. Too many things happening all at once. You have to give it more structure and improve the user interface and user experience.

Add more whitespace, and try to make the thing you want us to see as the most showing. Everything is the same font, everything is trying to hit you in the face.

On the props side, congrats on being in the crypto space! I've got a crypto project of my own, and we can connect and see how we can collab! My telegram is @savevski. Feel free to reach out
