Roast my UI/UX: My app is beautiful, but got only 8 upvotes on PH. Why?

Hey IH,

UI/UX designer and co-founder here. I'm building Bunzee (https://bunzee.ai) a PC web-based AI agent that automates competitor analysis and market validation so founders don't have to build those soul-crushing Excel spreadsheets anymore.

We officially launched in early April, and here are the honest (and painful) numbers:

Product Hunt Launch: 8 upvotes, 30 followers (Total flop)

Current Acquisition: Running Google Ads, but getting less than 10 signups per day.

Revenue: $0

Here is my dilemma (The Designer's Curse):
Because of my background, I made sure the app looks clean, modern, and polished. But the numbers don't lie. I’m terrified I’ve fallen into the "beautiful trap" creating a gorgeous product where the core messaging is completely missing the mark, or the user flow makes no sense to a first-time user.

Clearly, "pretty" doesn't equal "Product-Market Fit." I need people to look past the UI and tell me why this isn't converting.

Looking for brutal honesty. I need 5-10 makers to absolutely roast my PC web app. What I specifically want to know:

The Pitch: Does the landing page clearly explain the value? Or is it just designer jargon?

The Drop-off in the Workflow: Bunzee’s core user journey is 4 steps: 1. Idea Input ➔ 2. Competitor Analysis ➔ 3. PRD Creation ➔ 4. MVP output. Where exactly is the pain point? At which specific step do you lose interest, feel confused, or want to bounce?

The Desktop Experience: We optimized this for PC web since it's a heavy research tool. Does the UI actually support a deep-work research session, or does it feel clunky?

What you get in return (A trade 🤝):

Free access to test your own startup ideas with our engine.

My Design Skills: If you roast my app's UX/messaging, I will happily use my professional UI/UX designer skills to roast your landing page or product flow in return!

Please drop a comment below if you're willing to tear my baby apart. I'd rather read "your step 2 flow is garbage" in the comments today than keep burning money on Google Ads.

i saw your website, and it does look very well designed.

i wanted to try your product, but i felt the prompt box threw me off. "I have to tell this what i want? i don't know what i want"

instead something like "select your product category" or 3 simple inputs (ideally something that doesn't involve me typing) would lower the bar for trying out your product.

    hope this helps!

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Bunzee was developed not just for those who already have an idea, but also for solo entrepreneurs who want to build an MVP but aren't sure where to start. While we did consider a 'typing-free' approach as you suggested, we ultimately put it on hold because we felt too many options might lead to decision fatigue and confusion.

As a UI/UX designer, it’s incredibly rewarding to hear your compliments on our landing page. Please feel free to explore it further and share any additional thoughts. If you ever need feedback from my side, don't hesitate to ask. Thank you
