Roast my website

Is my message clear? Do you get what this site is about for people without a tech background?

Hello @ivanderbu2 ! I analyzed your landing page and below you can see what special things I noticed.

    General

    • "In under 5 minutes." as a separate sentence is weird. I would rephrase that for something like "It only takes 5 minutes."
    • "Sign up free" is not a correct sentence, I think you meant "Sign up for free".
    • Under the email input there are 3 things that are included with the signup, but the "30-day money-back guarantee" is under this section. Why not write it next to the 14 days free trial?
    • What's the purpose of the picture about the woman? I get that this looks cool, but it has nothing to do with your product. I think you should change it to a demo video about your product, images about your product or just simply remove it.
    • Who is your target audience? Are they into tech or not? You have a sentence about that it doesn't require any tech experience, but after you start talking about Nginx, PHP and Redis. I think these phrases could scare away people who aren't into tech.
    • Put more images or videos about your product's UI on the site. For example the "Features" section could have a screenshot for each feature, that way it is easier to scan through the site.
    • What do you mean by "Coming soon ability to backups sites."? Is this a feature that is still in development? Then put a "tag" on it like AWS provider has it's "Soon". It's easier to notice it.
    • Cloud providers section could be improved.
      • I would add that something should happen when someone clicks on a provider. For example, you could provide a link to the docs about that provider.
      • A block is missing, there is a blank space there. To fill the blank space you could create an option to request support for a provider which is not in the list. This way, the blank space will be filled with a link to a form.

    Technical

    • There are color contrast ratio issues. Use CSS Overview.
    • The Pricing section's Pricing title is in the middle of the screen which is annoying. At Features the section's title shows on top of the screen which is I think the right behavior.

I would gladly review your site after you changed some things on it. If you want me to revisit your landing page please contact me via email.

Thank you, Tömő. Your feedback is pure gold. I've already implemented some of the suggestions you mentioned.

I added the photo of the girl two nights ago. I noticed that many websites use the strategy of featuring a person looking in the direction of the CTA. I agree — ideally, I should include a video there.

Hey @ivanderbu2! Quick feedback: I'm a guy who already managed a few WP websites, but after a tech guy did the initial setup.
I feel that WPJack's current homepage is a bit techy and misses text. For example, in between the hero section and the features description, you could not only describe how you deliver a "1-click WordPress Toolkit", but saying exactly what it is.
And then, before listing the features, I would describe the problems being solved and your product benefits.

Now when you mentioned this I clearly see how the landing page lacks text.
Thank you, Vitor. This is valuable feedback. I will update the page soon.

I updated the landing page based on the link you posted a few days ago. Already getting better results and more signups.
In addition to the new sections I added, I am planning to add some kind of calculator to display how many hours/dollars users save monthly with WPJack.
