beautiful
Thank you for this! Really appreciate and makes me keep pushing!
I am visiting at your website (which I like) from London, and the performances are not exactly helping the user experience: in homepage very often styles get loaded after the page (maybe you can put a bit of caching), new and podcast pages as well but since the contents there are bigger the thing is worse. I don't know if anyone experiences these things as well. What's your tech stack ?
Thank you, this group is really amazing to spot different improvement points!
Hi Paolo,
Nice idea!
Right off the bat, I would change the header. I get that you want to show "Startup Taiwan" as an H1, but I think that "Access complete and updated information on starting a business." tells a lot more about what the product is about.
Design-wise, I would have a second look at the alignment of the sections. Each section feels like it has its own unique width and alignments, which makes the flow of the page messy and hard-ish to follow.
Stick to one or two container sizes and have a second look at the alignment of each section, how they align with one another, and how to improve the alignment within the sections.
I hope this helps, good luck!
thank you so so much for these valuable feedback!
The logo in navbar is too small.
"Recommend the best (and not so) company registration agencies" - the (and not so) is not so necessary and not so cool.
There's an ugly white stripe on the right side on Safari.
The "Forever Updated Guidebook" has broken word wrapping on Safari.
The "Introduction" scrollable box is meh. Just make the text shorter and show the whole thing in normal style.
The "What's inside" list squares is misaligned on Safari.
Prices should be in USD, not NT.
The first item in News points to a broken 500 link.
Apart from that, nice idea, and good luck. I lived in Taipei and Kaohsiung for a few years. Love Taiwan.
Thank you sooo much for your valuable feedback and hope to see you here in Taiwan to build your dream startup:)
Small feedback for you: is this for Taiwanese people? If not, put the prices in Dollars/Euros or whatever
Wow, I have been living here for so long I only think in NT dollars. Thank you son much!
hi Paolo
hello there :D
Hi Paolo, this is a great idea!
For a landing page there is a LOT of text - remember you have less than a second for someone to land on this, understand what it is and decide whether or not to stay.
Is it a book? A wiki? A paid-for service? What am I getting as a benefit from this product?
I'd suggest structuring the content around your user. Don't speak about 'us' and 'our' speak about 'you' and 'your' to keep it relevant to the user at all times.
If you can, reduce the text by at least 30%, it's much too long right now. I'd also get it copy proofed at least once so you can be sure it's as strong as possible for a global audience. I can highly recommend @getSB for this!
If you'd like some more in-depth help from a design and brand standpoint, feel free to get in touch :)
Good luck!
Woah thanks for this feedback, yep I will reduce the texts and focus on key message.
nice
Thank you!
Hey Paolo, nice work, I really like the interactive images. A couple of small things. I'd use an SVG image for your logo, on my laptop it looks a little blurry. I'd also suggest you add page headings to the pages. Right now the news page header feels a little empty.
This is great suggestion that I myself won’t notice for staring at it for too long. Thank you :)
