Report
Hey,
A few months back, we realized that most logo makers offered low-quality logos in terms of design, so we decided to build one. It's called Logoshaper and we just released our MVP.

Don't hold back :)
Congratulations on the release, I happen to have a need recently, and I feel very good after trying it out!
Sorry, I like the layout and previews on the left side, but this is completely useless for the logos' quality. What is this supposed to be based on? Just random forms with absolutely no relation to my business name? At least there should be an option to describe what you are looking for. There are many free image AIs out there that can do a better job already. I would think about integrating something like that to get better quality.
For now, I will stick with 99designs and pay 300 USD for a logo.
We are working on the engine to match logos with the user's business!
What do you mean exactly by " There are many free image AIs out there that can do a better job already." any examples?
Thanks!
Pretty good, I am going to bookmark it. Can you add some options for text too? Like making it a bit bold or different font? What will be your pricing?
This is coming in the next release! Adding text options will make a big difference I agree! For the pricing right now it's 50% off at $34.5!
That means you won't be cheaper than lets say Logology. This would be great at better price point.
The logos generated are slick and beautiful for my taste. I also like the idea of having the logo appear on your sample content like app, website, tab, etc. on the left.
I wish it took in some context of my business like some keywords, logos or the name of the business into consideration when generating the logos. I also wish it let me select the colors and shapes I want for my brand and created a logo based on that.
About taking the context of your business it is in the pipeline :)
Pumped for you to release the gradient colors.
Would be interesting to maybe see:
This could be a good, quick industry comparison before you choose a given logo.
Cool idea! So you'll describe your business, we generate logos and we show similar logos from existing successful tech startup? Right?
Yes - that's the idea to get a quick competitive analysis overview!
As someone in the similar space ( logoai.com), I like the simplicity of your design. Also, the thickness adjustment makes it really interesting. Good job for your first MVP.👍
Thanks! Would love to ask you a couple of questions if you have time someday :)
Hey, I‘ve gave it a try. There are some really cool and clean looking logos, but as others said: They seem pretty random. Would be nice to save a logo or have an undo button as well. Hope my feedback helps. :)
yeah taking the context of the business is in the pipeline! About the save and undo, completely agree. We'll do this as soon as we validate our MVP with our first clients!
Nice!
okay, that's great
Awesome, If it possible add a input field for add color by hexadecimal.
You can do this via the color picker if you click on the arrows!
I tried this tool out a few times and generated a few logos. Something I noticed about logo makers is that they never tell you the art style so I am ALWAYS going to be a bit disappointed.
I would experiment with telling people it's a minimalistic/tech logo maker and see how it goes. The logos remind me of tech startups, but not mom and pops.
Example:
If you're marketing this to Shopify owners, I don't think it will bode well.
If you're marketing this to No-Code entrepreneurs or to indie-hackers as tech logos...I'm seeing something there. That's why I'm bookmarking it personally.
A good test instead of relying on my 2c would be to look up different types of logos on Canva and see the art styles.
Tech/Finance look like these logos, not your coffee shops that want cartoon/artisty/3-D logos.
Agree! This is a logo for tech companies/startup/makers! We'll try to emphasis it more! Thx
I believe it is too...dull. All it does it asks for the startup name and then it adds a simple colored icon next to it and that's about it.
You said "most logo maker kind suck" but they do have many customization options. This is too simple, has nothing notable that would make your competitors be not that good compared to it. In fact it has many default/must-have features missing.
I get it, it's an mvp but you can't claim 'most logo maker kind suck'while your logo make does so few things. Am I missing something?
Hey! First, let me say I edited the post because your comment made me realize I shouldn't have phrased it like this.. it sounded bad.
Like you said this is a MVP and we know important things are missing but I'm curious to know what you have in mind when you say "In fact it has many default/must-have features missing"
Thanks for the feedback!
