ROAST The kickstarter of ideas - Tidai

Hi folks
I have been sharing 10 ideas every day on twitter. It occurred to me that I can build a marketplace of ideas where consumers can bring problems to creators & where creators can get early validation & support.

The landing page below is the result of my initial thinking.

Please, Roast my landing page https://tid.ai/landing from all angles:

  • Design
  • Business model
  • Clarity the value add
  • Call to action
  • Pricing
  • The kick-telligence tools, do they resonate?

And most importantly would you (or entrepreneurs you know, non tech savvy) pay for the access to an early support network and a step by step template to guide you in kickstarting your idea into reality?

Bear in mind this is still a static page (basically slides).

Thanks a lot!

Wow, man your feedback is mind blowing....thank you so much for taking the time and recording a video. I subscribed to your channel.

"NA" - of what? lacks context, on the pricing part
generally I don't get the pricing stracture, what's the difference between then, it's the most obscure one I've seen in a while
kick-telligence - ???? (I think your taking the creative branding side too far personally..)

I think it's one of the best takes I've seen on this concept (which 1000's have been trying)
The landing page IMHO needs another itteration or two of simplification and reduction, more air space, less steps, better examples, just simpler..

(personally I don't belive much in the concept, due even a bad concept can get usage..)

      Thanks for the feedback!

      • NA, should remove that, placeholder for now.
      • pricing, you pay to access the behind the scenes of the idea, connection, and research, and templates... do you think the 99 per idea is weird or the 49 per month to access multiple project is the issue?
      • thank you for the compliment! Yes landong page needs another iteration and breathing space.
      • the concept is not for everyone. More geared toward folks who want to do a side business but not sure what to do or how to go about it. Tidai's goal is to give them some guidance.

I'd more say your target audience has a high regard for the idea part of the bussiness. (based on the landing page, concept and such..)

for the pricing page, read it like a user not what's in your head, read only the features for example
I can browse everything and submit for free.
99$ I talk to my team? (I'll do it somewhere else), blueprints? and brainstorming... like what does that have to do with the site?... there is nothing in the landing page about any of this...
I think on top you sell me an idea discovery site and later you want to sell me an idea implementation thingy? getting that partially from your added comments..

Great points you raised there! I am not sure how to capture the value of selling just an idea. That is why i am assuming users will find value in connecting with other backers and creators. You dont know who likes your idea, or who want to cofound it with you when you start
It is to be seen if this is worth 99$. Plus I am adding the templates as a bonus starter guide.

However, yes i need to figure out really what i am exactly charging for. Maybe monetisation isnt possible or will come out later in different forms.

          Thanks for the feedback again!

            Try to do less.

"Kickstart your ideas into reality" = it wasn't clear to me if you are helping me with this. Is this a tool where I can post an idea, and can get a feedback from a network of investors/potential customers?

    1. 1

Thanks for the feedback! I might need to use more direct simpler language.

So you got it almost right. People post ideas. Others rate them in 2 ways, as this is cool i wamt to help you build it (creators), and this is cool i want to buy it or back it up (backers).

Anyone can do that. However, if you decide you like an idea enough, you pay for it, as a psychological commitment to that idea.

      You get in return:
1- access to all contacts of people interested in the idea, backers and creators.
2- a template on notion with step by step process to mature your idea to pitch it or build it.
3- if subscribed, Access to feedback from others.

Woooh, i need to find simpler ways of telling the stoey. Let me know if the concept is clear now.

      Thanks!!!
