RoastMe: Build your own job board

Before you read the post, I was hoping you could take a look at the landing page: https://www.recrooit.com/job-board.

Now for the context: I'm building a feature on Recrooit for creators like yourself, and I thought it was about time to get feedback on our landing page!

You can build your job board on Recrooit and monetize in two different ways from it:

  1. Whoever applies through your job board is your referral; If they get hired, you get a bounty $$$
  2. Post a job affiliate CTA allows you to earn 20% recurring from each company that signs up from your job board.

Possibilities are endless, as you can host the link or use our API to build your job board from scratch on your blog, social media, portfolio website, GitHub, a newsletter, etc.

I'd appreciate feedback:

  1. Is the message clear? Is there anything you didn't understand?
  2. Would you sign up, and if not - why?
  3. What's the first thing you noticed about the page?
  4. What do you like the least about the page?
  5. Any ideas on how to improve it?

Here's the link once again if you missed the first one: https://www.recrooit.com/job-board

Thanks in advance for your support! 💙

    I'd change the headline.

You have: "Your very own job board"

I'd go with: "Create a job board in any niche"

Your page sections look fine as I scroll. I would:

    1. add more contrast / brightness to the header
    2. increase the size of the headshots with people who have nice things to say.

    Go for it!

Got it, thanks! I've changed the headline - I'm gonna need a designer for the rest of the page, this is the best I could do :D

Are these free job boards listings customizable based upon my page/website's audience? Because that would make some definite sense to have some optionality there.

    1. It's fairly clear, but the affiliate offer is quite unusual so I'd clarify that.
    2. Maybe. If it's like an iFrame I can shove somewhere on a website to monetize. If it's a pain to integrate probably not.
    3. The unusualness of the logo/name combination.
    4. There's no real guarantees or high conviction of anything - income, etc.
    5. Maybe a demo page without signup needed.

Thank you, Mark - these are v useful!

Yes, you can curate the jobs and customise the board to your audience's needs.

There's an iFrame as well; it's probably wise to pinpoint that somewhere on the page.
