RPG to Achieve the real traction for SaaS

I was scared to talk about this until I get some feedback about core utility services achiv.com provides (Leads Research, Pain & Objections Aggregation...). Now, when I got so much very positive feedback, I want to explain the main feature and some sort of unique business model I'm going to follow with this product.

The tools to find your leads, surface their real pain and objections, simulate behaviour and train your pitching skills - just a small utility under the bigger idea I had all this time.

These useful features (according to feedback from 30+ users for today) will be available without a monthly payments. Just "Pay-as-you-go" model if you only want to perform a research, identify gaps in your pivot, find leads / communities to engage... Top-up your balance for $5 and do whatever and whenever you want. Credits are never not burns, so you are free to come back anytime to continue with your research.

I think it's the only way to be fair with such a tools.

The RPG of SaaS Growth

To build a recurring revenue, I plan to build a real RPG around the utility services already available. The Game of Getting Organic Traction.

On top of all services it has, for only $19/month you can get additional layer of experience which actually helps every founder to be consistent in building own brand, word-of-mouth + SEO/GEO organic traction.

This layer will include real game experience:

  1. Levels

  2. Achievements (now you know why it's "achiv.com" and not "leadgen[dot]something")

  3. Experience earned by daily activity necessary for your SaaS to grow

  4. A github-like activity chart

  5. A leaderboard (currently just called "Directory") with the top active this week

  6. And a bunch of tools to help you build a real growth (e.g, API/WebHook based generative blog for your SaaS that hits the exact pain achiv discovers, Social Media Copywriter and later something else).

So what's your opinion about such kind of experience, where actual service is pay-as-you-go, and the curated traction grind is an RPG-like subscription-based option?

The pay-as-you-go utility + optional RPG-style subscription is a smart model because early-stage SaaS founders often need flexible research tools without committing to monthly costs. Gamifying consistent growth activities (content, outreach, learning from user pain) can also help maintain discipline, which is usually the hardest part of achieving organic traction.
