Running out of cash as a founder is one of those lessons that sticks.
You think you’ll raise.
You think you’ll get acquired.
You think you have more runway than you actually do.
Sometimes you’re right. Sometimes… you’re not. And when you’re not, things move fast.
From what I’ve seen, many founders don’t fail because the idea was bad. They run out of time — or runway — before execution catches up.
That realization is one of the reasons I started building Boxsy.
Not to remove risk — that’s impossible. But to help founders stay more organized and ahead of surprises.
Curious:
Have you ever had a moment where runway became very real, very fast?
