Running the company on Slack, MS Teams or Discord?

Hi everyone,
has anyone experience in managing teams in a remote setup?
I'm looking at chat apps especially Slack, Teams and Discord.

Which are you using?
And how big is your team?

Would really love to hear some pros and cons before commiting.

I used to use Discord years ago when running a community, which also had staff - it was... ok.

I prefer to use Slack now, it's much more work-orientated (since it's for work lol). The team is small right now at just 3 people, but I know A LOT of large teams use Slack efficiently. As for Teams, I've only seen that used for school but it could be good.

      Discord feels very fast.
But slack is sometimes really slow.

What is your take on performance and where is the real value for companies running using a chat app?

Discord is a lot faster, I agree with that. I think the biggest value is collaboration and connecting with others - so features that allow for such thing in a virtual work environment. Performance is also key, but most people using Slack overlook that and weigh in on the features.

I understand Discord is now branching out to cater for schools and other communities rather than just gaming, but to me is still feels too gimmicky for a work-related chat app.
