S3 GUI file browser?
One issue I have with AWS S3 is that it's very much a tool for developers and even then it's clunky. I'm thinking about building a simple digital asset manager for S3. Connect to your bucket and you can browse all your files in a clean, modern interface, as well as upload and download new files, allow team members, etc.

I agree with @joeczubiak. There's no doubt that AWS UIs could use a lot of love. I'm in there most days and it drives me a little crazy sometimes.
For S3 specifically, if it was just a new skin I probably wouldn't be interested and I'm not sure who your market would be. I do wonder what negative search terms around S3 might uncover though.
That said, if you came up with a storage service that just so happened to leverage S3 under the hood or unlocked S3 use cases that would otherwise be really tricky to setup or require a lot of expertise, that might be interesting.
There is always room for more and better tools, but there are already many apps that work in this space - cyberduck and beyondcompare are just two that I use almost daily, and there are many more.
I've always felt this way too. Wishing AWS had better UI on all of its products.
There are some tools that do this already. Including using an established FTP client to connect to S3 buckets.
Personally, I think S3 is just infrastructure and most of the team shouldn't need to know what S3 is. Building a really good or really simple digital asset manager that could be used with any popular storage service would be a more interesting way to look at the problem.
