I am currently working on a saas churn identification platform that would help identify and reduce churn through surveys, email flows, etc.
but what I was wondering if you guys think it would be valid to use this data to build financial models to help prepare you for facing VCs/ acquirers that need progress checks.
for example: you link your sales --> see where you can improve retention --> act to improve --> use a projection model --> present/ send to VCs
Speaking from the point of view of someone who actually works in the Buy Side of a company, this is extremely helpful when we are evaluating a potential acquisition. Churn (and CAC) is one of the most important metrics for us. Were you able to develop into this idea any further?
