SaaS: Embeddable blog

Hi everyone!

I'm a software developer an I have been asked by many clients in order to connect a simple blog to the existing website. The main goal for it - increase sales and brand recognition.

But - some find the existing website builders too complicated for non-tech guys, especially content creators, so I decided to test the idea of embeddable blog service with super easy interface.

The product is on the MVP stage, so right now I created just a landing page, and would like to test the value proposition.

What are your first impressions by looking at this site https://microblog.in/ in the first 3 seconds?
What information is missing or redundant?

Thanks in advance!

I wish there was a working example of what you're trying to sell me somewhere on the front-page...

      Got it, thanks!

Great idea! I do have a couple of questions as a visitor, and prospects would have them too:

    • Where's the blog hosted, and how will that affect my SEO?
    • Any case studies? (Presuming no since it's not live yet, but would be cool to test it)
    • Sample tutorials for how to connect the MicroBlog to a service like Carrd?
    • What kind of pricing can we expect?

I'd say that's the missing information. Also, I'm kinda sad I can't try it right now because I could really use a blog for Carrd :(

      Thanks for feedback @LanaRafaela!
The blog is hosted on your website and it will run on your own domain ( ex mywebsite.com/news ), alongside with our standard host, like: ulan.microblog.in

Works similar to embedding youtube video. The video is hosted on youtube but looks like the usual element of your website. And that’s about the same thing but instead there will be a list of posts. The google’s engine finds all the text and indexes pretty much just like it’s the average page of your website.

It’s on mvp stage, but I can email you an update when it’s ready.

As for tutorials, I’m recording a series of how-tos for every no-code website builder. All of them will be on the website soon.

As for pricing, I’m yet to define it clearly tbh. Would love to hear your opinions. I've come up with this map so far: first 5 posts are free, then 20$/month - unlimited posts, unlimited authors.

Also, I’m planning to bring in a couple of copywriters, so the client can invite the expert directly and order an article on a specific topic.
Does it have a value for you btw?

Awesome! Good to hear about indexation, that's what I was wondering about. :) Definitely let me know when you launch.

        Tutorials sound great!

As for the pricing, I honestly probably wouldn't go for $20/mo because I don't post as much, but I'd recommend a flexible pricing plan that offers something to people who post 5 times a month, 20, and then unlimited for a higher price and some extra goodies. That's what I've normally seen.

But yeah, this would have major value for me! :)

As for inviting copywriters, let me know when you launch that. I'd love to work with you(r clients)!

I will surely get back to you once it’s ready!
I never thought about pricing this way, looks very flexible.
          Thanks again for your feedback!
