In the COVID world, online service based businesses (freelance programming, online teaching, online fitness instructors) have become attractive. I am building a simple and cost effective SaaS solution for a solo entrepreneur to run her/his business. Looking for feedback: https://www.easepath.com/
thanks,
Great idea! An affordable option for your target group is so needed. I'm a personal trainer (basketball). Thankfully, I know how to do most of the set-up. However, I know others like me struggle with it. I'm advising a few startups tacking issues in this space - focused on specific verticals. Feel free to hit me up with questions.
Always great to see people with love for basketball <3
I think this is a great idea and had been thinking about something similar.
A few thoughts:
If I were you,
-- I'd number them ("5 steps", '1: Start', '2: Market', etc.)
-- I wouldn't use vertical/rotated text
-- I'd put Delight before Sell (marketing is how we find leads, delight is how we convert them, selling is how we close)
-- I'd consider dropping 'Run' and reducing to 4 steps. I think people don't commit to starting a business because they're daunted by building the platform and the marketing. Accounting only becomes a concern once they've actually got clients. Moreover, I personally wouldn't run my accounting through a SaaS that I chose because it was good at marketing and client-video-streaming-as-a-service. Adding a (flexible, competent) general accounting layer on top would be a ton of work and more likely to be a liability/weakness than a strength. My 2¢
thanks! very helpful feedback. I am also trying to understand customer demand for this product. There are products like Mindbody which serve SMBs for specific niches (typically are over-built and are super expensive). My concept is more like a Shopify for services. Welcome any thoughts.
Hi I like idea about what you want to offer the world.Just keep going. From my personal point of view, I would work on visual (theme, layout, colors) - get inspired by others, think about how to delivery message of your project - follow by marketing rules :) Wish you all the best
thanks Niki. Any thoughts on market demand for this product? Are there enough freelancers/teachers out there trying to set up their own portal? For e.g. mindbody is quite popular with fitness teachers.
Hi Neil. In this time of COVID when everybody is at home, I believe there is a ton of the people who want to start a successful business and be independent, however, do proper research.
It takes time to understand the market, at the same time is very important to find people to make a research and find the people who exactly whats your product - Millennials, Gen Z? Not sure, get inspired

Thanks Niki - very good guidance.
Design-wise, A lot of things can be improved. Same goes with the fonts. Also, There is too much text, there is a high chance of people leaving the site because of that only.
thanks for the feedback!
