SaaS Landing Page - Feedback Needed! Thanks!

Feel free to tear apart the LP or product concept - all feedback is helpful!

Specific feedback that would also be helpful:
-Is our product concept clear?
-Design improvements that would help drive email submissions?
-Thoughts on the value prop?

Thanks y'all!

"Tired of demoing from the command line?" doesn't mean much to me as a dev

I would figure out the exact use case and what sort of customers would use it.

Thanks for the feedback, Volkan! Sounds like we need to hone the use-case and communicate it more clearly.

      We're thinking 2 main user-groups and use-cases:

      1. Devs & PMs who test APIs internally could benefit from an out-of-the-box UI for easier testing
      2. Sales Engineers & Account Execs selling APIs to customers could benefit from a low-lift UI for demoing the APIs without depending on engineers to build and maintain a tool for that purpose.

As a Dev does #1 resonate with you at all?

      1. 1

For 1 doesn't postman kind of do that?

2 is interesting. But I don't have that use case.

    2. 1

I had the same thought. I don’t demo apis that I make. I might demo the ui that used the api behind the scenes though.

Thanks for chiming in, Martin! Do you work with any APIs that aren't used by a UI? Do you see any value in a tool that quickly creates a UI for visualizing and testing the APIs?

        1. 1

Yes some stuff happens completely on the back end. For that I might use chrome dev tools and JS or Insomnia.

In my use case I don’t think I need more. I mean I’d try other stuff for free but not motivated enough to pay for something better.

    Interesting @bill3

    1. Is our product concept clear?
Unsure if it's an API oriented product or UI product, I assume it's UI focused based on your domain?

    2. Design improvements that would help drive email submissions?
I like your design is actually not bad, clean & sleek! Would be great to strengthen your content. Show some examples, and highlight the benefits more.

    3. Thoughts on the value prop?
      Try to avoid buzzwords :)

    Hope it's helpful!

I'm also improving my site for a little project, would be great to hear your advice too!

Thanks for the feedback, Felix! Good ideas to clarify whether it's an API or UI product and show more examples.

Happy to return the favor! I took a look at your site and also downloaded the slides. A few thoughts:

      First, the actual product:

      • I like the slides!
      • I make a fair amount of powerpoints in my day job. The slides in the base pack look good for pitching a new business.
      • For presenting on something else (staffing models, revenue analysis, quarterly business reviews, product demos, etc. etc.) I assume there are other slides packs that would be useful.

      As for the landing page:

      • I'd thinking about modifying the header "Presentation Made Easy" - maybe it's just me, but this didn't speak to me immediately that you're providing slides for a deck. I'd try to slip in some other words like slides / zlides / deck / pitch / powerpoint to help get the point across.
      • It's a little busy. I think less may be more as far as getting the value prop across. I think people will know if they need help with slides, and they'll be most interested in what types of slides you offer and what they look like, so I'd trim or cut the "What’s inside?"

Hope my non-expert opinion may help a bit!

Hey @bill3 thank you so much for your feedback!!!!

I'm particularly into your 3rd point - will definitely make it clear and establish premium slides pack in the future.

I have to no idea what the product is - is it an app builder? A cmd line gif builder? Not sure.

I didn't put my email as I have no idea what I am signing up for. Perhaps a few concrete examples would be good?

      Thanks for the feedback, Vishesh!

Headline is kind of weak because it's not immediately clear what the problem is, but I like the idea. I subscribed (actual subscription, not just to try it out) and there's no real thank you page

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for subscribing - interested to hear more feedback after you use it!

And great suggestion on the thank you page - something we'll look to add soon.
