SAAS MAKERS: Building a tool to reduce context switching — would love founder feedback
I’m building a SaaS called OMNEX to help teams deal with tool overload — email, chat, docs, meetings, tasks all scattered across apps.
It started as an internal solution for our own team, and now I’m trying to validate whether this problem resonates with other founders.

When priorities aren’t fully clear, everything feels equally important , so people keep switching, not because of the tools but because nothing has been truly decided.
In your experience is the problem more fragmentation across tools, or teams not being fully aligned on what actually matters ?
Interesting problem! One thing I’ve noticed in tools trying to centralize work is the struggle between visibility vs noise. Would love to know how you’re thinking about prioritizing the most essential context bits for a user at any moment.
Great question — that visibility vs. noise tension is exactly the trap we’re trying to avoid.
Right now we’re not trying to surface everything; we bias toward what helps a user re-enter flow fastest. Practically, that means prioritizing state over artifacts: what I was working on, why, and what the next concrete action is — rather than a feed of messages, docs, or tasks.
In early tests, we anchor the experience around a single “re-entry surface” that pulls context from existing tools but compresses it into a small set of signals: current objective, last meaningful action, blockers, and next step. Everything else stays accessible, but intentionally one click away.
Longer-term, we expect this to get smarter with usage patterns — learning which signals matter for that user in that moment and suppressing the rest. The goal isn’t perfect visibility; it’s confident momentum.
