SaaS owners, Do you send event-based / trigger-based emails?

Hi guys,

Just doing a little bit of quick research:

Do you send event-based emails in your app? As in when someone does something or doesn't do something in your app -> send them an email.

What kind of events do you use to send emails?

And if you're not sending, why not?
