SaaS payments - easiest option...?
I need to add payments to the app i’m building, and I’m a bit confused.
My needs are very simple: I want to charge people once a month, with a trial period (UK/US/Europe). I don’t want to store card details or anything, if I can avoid it. My priority is simplicity in the implementation, so i can ship asap.
I looked at Stripe, but I’m a bit bamboozled - do I want to use Billing? Products? Checkout?
I looked at Chargebee, but it seems they also need a payment gateway, so what is the point of using them over just Stripe?
If you just want to get up and running as quickly as possible, go with Gumroad.
It creates a hosted landing page for your product/service, which you just need to link to. Really simple integration.
