Hello guys!
I'm a developer and in my spare time I've developed this site:
https://mytraderdiary.com
I didn't follow the advice to validate the idea before developing it (It's a tool that would be useful for myself). But, lesson learned!
The service is basically a substitute for spreadsheets very common amongst people that do more intense stock trading (as far as I know). The service isn't unique, there are some competitors that I'm aware of. I tried their service but it didn't fit my needs so I developed this.
I would like to know from you guys what you think could be improved on the landing page and the service as well. I have more features planned but suggestions are always welcomed.
The service is somewhat working as well and I think I'll be releasing it officially soon (After I validated all math checks out :) ).
My guy says that you're not going to get the type of feedback you're looking for on IH. How many IHers do "intense stock trading"? Maybe a couple.
That said, I think you'll find a ton of people that do the type of trading you're referring to on Reddit/Twitter/Linkedin. Have you tried getting feedback from those places?
I think that even if IHers are not interested in the product itself they could see something that I've missed on marketing or how things are working. But, anyway I looked on reddit, the subs I found weren't that cool with posts they would consider "self promotion" by the rule. I'll try anyway I guess.
Thanks for the feedback!
You only need a couple of users to get you the feedback you need. Rather than post (which will get deleted), message people directly with a really short message asking if theyβll try it and give you thoughts. I helped someone else do this and they got like 10 users to sign up and try it out. Big thing here would be to take down any cc requirement.
