SaaS Templates - What Do You Think Should Come With It?
Hey everyone!
Working on a new solution called SaaSbox.net and we're looking to create a new template to quickly convert an idea into a monetized business.
We currently handle features like:
- Landing Page
- Payment Plans Creation (including stripe integration)
- Products (one off digital files for sale)
- domain so no need to spend on a custom domain until later
- User management (login, forgot password, email confirmation)
- Mailing list capture (including mailchimp integration)
- Connection to backend app
Wondering what else is important to people with ideas to use our platform, as of now there is a free plan including all the above so we are just wondering what else it would take for it to be worthwhile to use!

I understand the problem you're trying to solve fully, but I don't understand how your product works and the messaging on your site seems confusing between offering digital product downloads and SaaS infrastructure.
If you're hosting the infrastructure, how does a user deploy their own code? Your website states that no developers are required and only basic HTML knowledge, but a SaaS app requires a tonne of bespoke development.
It's also unclear how a backend API can become a fully functioning SaaS app without writing any bespoke front-end code?
It sounds like you're offering more of a DIY Gumroad type product for creating a web presence for downloading digital downloads rather than a SaaS template?

100% agree with @kylegawley, I think I even wrote a comment on another post about it.
You're not really offering tools for a SaaS.
So out of that list I would focus on stripe and user management and https://www.servicebot.io/ already does that. You can always compete with them.
