Good summary of the different options. I'd add that IaaS and PaaS are slowly converging. The major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) now have their own PaaS options (as the article points out) and managed services that often look more like PaaS than IaaS. Severless functions blur the difference further. I also think IaaS is a really good option for startups. It's fairly easy to configure your own infrastructure for basic projects given all the helpful resources available online. The benefits are it'll be a lot cheaper over time and scalable as you grow.
