If you're a founder, would hiring an on-demand sales manager for $50 bucks a month be something of interest?
They would help you build sales collateral, sales coaching, discovery documents, sales funnels, evaluate sales tools and technology, etc.
Let's hear it!
Hi Omar -
This seems priced too low IMO. When you say "sales manager" and "they would help you build sales ....", it really seems like there is some personal interaction here and I'm not sure how you make this work for $50/mo. As a buyer, I'd be skeptical of what I was getting.
I'm probably no longer your ideal customer/founder at my current stage, but in the early days of my startup -- I could see this being beneficial. Here is how we went from 0 to current state.
phase 1: founder based selling / no process and no collateral
phase 2: founder based selling / begin process and collateral
phase 3: hire 2 entry level sales people, founders manage them.
phase 4: we aren't here yet, scale sales team to 5-7 and hire a dedicated sales manager
One approach I can see being more appealing, predictable, and helpful for you own sales funnel is something like this.
Create a Startup Founders Sales package (or packages), with a fixed cost (i.e $199, $299, $499 for example). This would be a one-time cost for a set of concrete deliverables you'd give them to get bootstrapped into a good process and set of collateral. Once you build this relationship and trust with them, you can upsell them on something recurring to continue delivering value.
Here were some things we spent a ton of time on, but honestly, would've preferred for someone to help us through it.
I'm sure there were other things that tripped us up, but those ^ are the ones I remember vividly because of how much time I had to invest in them. I'm a developer, so these were all new things for me.
@johnny_am
This is great feedback. Thank you.
I'm not selling the above service but it's something that I began thinking about recently as a sales professional. I'm noticing that many founders struggle in this area. I began offering free 1:1 sales coaching for founders and this idea emerged.
hey Johnny, I'm also a cofounder at ProcessLogic. Your comment is super insightful and almost exactly in line with what we're building for founders. Would love to hop on that call with you and Omar to show you a demo before we launch in July. :)
@johnny_am
I'd like to connect with you sometime to show you what we're working on at ProcessLogic as it pertains to start-ups/technical founders and founder lead selling.
Sure, anytime -

It's worth considering that sales is a critical aspect of any business, and it's important to have a well-structured sales strategy and team in place to achieve business objectives.
Hi Omar,
I had a look at ProcessLogic and it reminds me of a methodology called Sandler Selling where you have a trusted advisor approach built around mutual commitment. Building tools that support this approach (or similar) is appealing, and it addresses real problems that are often visible at the startup, and even scale-up stage. It looks promising!
I agree with Jonny_am though that the price seems too low.
I would be happy to chat further and can share a little about me in the link below:
