What will you accomplish by end of January?
What did you do yesterday to work toward your goal?
What will you do today?

  1. 1

I've been trying to get out of the developer mindset and more into the founder mindset.

So today, I created a targeted form for market research aimed at developers & indie hackers 😄

Typeform's free tier is pretty solid.

4 Projects will be shipped by the end of January

🐔What did you do yesterday to work toward your goal?

I finished pulling all of the data from our API to our UI for our progress tracking app

    🐔What will you do today?

Today I already did some promotion for our 2nd of the month project https://mywifisign.com and got a ton of great feedback on reddits webdev board. Spent all day answering user feedback, it was awesome to see so many people interested.

Hopefully I can add POST / PUT functionality before I go to sleep tonight on our progress tracker

    Yesterday:
I worked on getting article support into AvoToast. I'm really excited to get articles into the app so I can share tips and tricks with all my users more easily to help them with their weight loss.

    Today:
working on pricing improvements. I want users to be able to prepay for their entire weight loss journey, as a form of commitment to themselves. I find when I put money down on something, I'm more likely to follow through.

    By the end of January:
Launch payments and a handful of bug fixes and feature improvements. And get ready to show off AvoToast at the Indie Hackers LA Meetup hopefully!

Trying to trim down the Album Daily newsletter so that I can get accurate open/click rates. Mailchimp seems to add a ton of junk to the emails.

    By the end of Jan:
2 more paying customers and integrating all the feedback from user testing into the product

    Yesterday:
Distilled several interviews of feedback into action items for the product

    Today:
Did one more customer interview which actually resulted in an unexpected conversion! (they don't always)

What will you accomplish by end of January?

Another paying customer 🎉 I have 1, maybe 2 on the line. Content marketing will bring in some more but they might not convert before the year-end.

What did you do yesterday to work toward your goal?

I finished my huge guide on 20 growth tactics on Instagram that work in 2020. It's almost 5,000 words long and is a culmination of years of experience on Instagram.

    What will you do today?

Promote the guide like crazy 😋

      7:15PM ET

      RescueTime statistics: 5h 45m (35% productive)

Didn't block out other applications using RescueTime / FocusTime, and felt kind of burned out today. Didn't really get much done, except for part of the preliminary product dev docs for TinyDevCRM. I'll see how much more I can finish tonight.
