Saventify's story

Hey Indie Hackers,

I’m launching Saventify, a digital wedding invitation and RSVP platform built to make wedding guest management less stressful.

The idea started when a friend was planning a wedding and couldn’t find a simple, elegant way to handle invitations and RSVPs without juggling paper invites, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, and endless follow-ups.

So I built the first version as a gift.

That eventually became Saventify.

With Saventify, couples can:

  • Create a beautiful digital wedding invitation

  • Share it via link, WhatsApp, SMS, email, or QR code

  • Collect RSVPs automatically

  • Track guests in one place

  • Ask for dietary needs, kids’ menus, room requirements, and other details

  • Export the guest list when needed

The goal is simple: help couples spend less time chasing replies and more time enjoying the wedding planning process.

I know weddings are emotional, personal, and often chaotic, so I wanted Saventify to feel lightweight and elegant rather than like another complicated planning tool.

I’d love feedback from the Indie Hackers community, especially on:

  1. The landing page messaging

  2. Pricing

  3. Whether the product feels focused enough

  4. Growth ideas for reaching engaged couples or wedding planners

Here’s the site: https://saventify.com

Thanks for checking it out. Happy to answer any questions about how I built it, what I’ve learned so far, or what I’m working on next.

The thing I'd be careful with is not the feature set or pricing.

It's whether the person you're building for and the person you're marketing to end up being the same person.

That sounds obvious, but products in this category often get pulled in different directions long before the founder notices.

I wouldn't make that decision casually in a thread because it tends to affect messaging, growth, and pricing all at once.
