Say hello to Freddy Feedback

Hi everyone,

As a product manager I've used many feedback tools and I've always felt they were lacking, both on the user side (the person filling out the widget) and especially on the dashboard side (where the owner gets an overview of the feedback).

That's why I've designed and built one myself. It's highly focussed, highly polished and different from competition in 3 categories:

Focus
We do one thing and try to do it really well

Design
We felt most feedback widgets were poorly designed, so we spend time making it look good. Same goes for the dashboard.

Pricing
We have one-off project pricing because not everyone wants/needs a subscription, and you get a LOT for less.

So, say hello to Freddy Feedback: https://freddyfeedback.com?source=indie_hackers

The landing page is up, official launch (please don't hunt us yet ;-)) is in a few weeks.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

I have a lot of questions, here are some answers 😎!

    • Use images that lead into headlines and make sure they're alined...so the image supports the text!
    • Don't crank too much text in your hero, and make sure that your H1 and H2 are magnetic enough to make your visitors want to scroll
    • Use Call to Actions where it makes sense, but not having enough call to actions is not a good idea!
    • Add more pages to describe your mission and why you're building behind the product
    • When creating a list of features, try to think as a customer. They don't want to read features, but instead answers to their problems!

Thanks for the detailed feedback and the great video, really appreciate it! Definitely some items that need work (eg the CTA) so I'll have a look into that.
