Scams don't look like scams anymore

Something surprised me recently.

My parents almost fell for a scam message. It looked completely legitimate, correct language, personal details, no obvious warning signs.

It made me realize that the signals people used to rely on to spot scams are disappearing.

That’s what led me to start building a small tool called ZeroScam. The idea is simple: paste a suspicious message and get a quick explanation of why it might be a scam.

But I’m curious how others deal with this.

When you receive a suspicious message, how do you actually verify if it’s real or not?
