This would be a game changer for pitching to clients or planning your next project.
How can one scrape freelance sites to determine avg cost of services?
I'm thinking sites like upwork & fiverr.
It would be very hard to determine because for the same service someone from India would bid at aroubd $7/hr while another person from Germany would bid at around $50/hr or higher. There is no way to determine anything using your method.
& what about if you only show results from 1 country at a time?
Still there are other factors too like work experience. Even if they are from same country or place with similar living cost, they can have very different rates.
sure, but on Upwork you can filter by experience, job satisfaction etc. & Fiverr has similar features.
