Searching for a technical co-founder

Hi! We are Sui Generis, LLC and we are looking for a technical co-founder to join us in our project to build an interdisciplinary R&D cloud laboratory to enhance and accelerate scientific research in the life sciences.

This is an idea-stage project that has corroborating primary research done with over 90 life sciences professionals.

Think Benchling but for all disciplines of life sciences instead of just strictly molecular/biochem, with more workflow-friendly features. If you have experience in building a successful, profitable SaaS platform, please contact us! Experience in biotech a plus but not a requirement.

Our core principles for building this R&D cloud laboratory are:

Data Security - not only against breaches, but preservation of IP will be important in a
system that will be designed to be collaborative.

Intuitive, workflow-organic use - Many powerful software programs suffer from lack of adoption when they are not easy to use.

Cost - Our main competitor costs $20,000 annually for five users. We expect to be able to offer a better, more focused product for less than 10% of that amount and still have great revenue and profitability.

● " Anyone can cook" approach to doing science, similar to Ratatouille’s philosophy on cooking. Not that literally anyone is capable of cooking or doing science, but having access to doing science is something that we all can have. This is especially important for veteran scientists who are concerned about adopting a digital platform.
