Secured a paying customer, looking for a technical partner in crime for a micro-SaaS
Hello,
based in Singapore - I have been learning to code to create a micro-SaaS or a suite of smaller but global B2B products to sell.
I've come to a realisation that it's actually not that easy to stumble on something that gets a paying customer straight away and last week it finally happened where someone actually put their money on the table and committed to first MRR. Unfortunately, I am still not at the state where I can pull it off myself straight away and thus look for someone.
What I bring to the table - 13 years of experience in:
- Product
- Sales
- Marketing
- Extra help on the front-end if needed
Some traits:
- Humble
- Open-minded
- Easy-going
- Willing to treat it as a side-gig for now
- Ok with potentially tough time zone overlap (remote)
- No blockchain... ever... this is non-negotiable
Stack is not that important but have something in mind to discuss.
Project:
A discord bot for retrieving certain information natively from users, then pushing the data via a public API into a specific tool (MVP) + several extensions possible. Have product specs in progress. I know sounds easy but there are always caveats.

Sounds like an interesting and fun project :) Cool that you could secure some customers already as well.
I‘ve been in SW dev/tech area for about 10 years now.
Mostly working on the backend side developing and designing APIs (mostly python flask and/or node.js) but also taking care of scaling the services for heavy load in acloud environment.
For database I mostly use Postgres + redis (for caching or also as db).
For Auth I like to use openid together with Auth0.
In the last 2-3 years I also gained more experience on the frontend side using vue.js. So in case a frontend would come into play I‘d also happy to explore into that direction.
