The connection between scope changes and actual project margin is a useful part of the product. Curious which part of that workflow agencies are reacting to most so far.
Good question. So far the part that gets the strongest reaction is the live comparison between SOW hours and actual hours logged — what I'm
calling the Scope Creep Sentinel.
When someone sees "62% complete but 91% of hours used" with the exact £ impact, the response is always the same: "We've had that happen but never
saw it until the invoice went out."
The AI SOW Writer gets attention because it's visible and fast (15 seconds from brief to SOW). But the margin drift detection is what makes people stop scrolling.
The invoicing and forecasting are further down the workflow — nobody's reacted to those yet because they haven't reached that stage. My first active user created clients, projects, SOWs, and timesheets — invoicing will come when he has
enough data to bill against.
Early days, but the pattern is clear: visibility of the problem (scope drift) resonates more than the solution (invoicing, forecasting). People need to see the pain before they care about the fix.
