Little about myself:
I am no-coder so i can't tag myself with a technical person before this, I was a mobile game designer. My previous experience in selling mobile game templates inspired me to create a new platform - a marketplace for digital assets and services.
In the past, I have faced some challenges when it came to providing customized work to buyers who bought my templates, as well as providing after-sale support. Buyers would often contact me on my email or Skype, and unfortunately, I have been a victim of fraud by some buyers who did not pay or caused chargeback issues with PayPal. This happened mainly because I did not have a contract with them for those small tasks (similar to Fiverr), which only took a day or two to complete. Sometimes the problem was on my end, as the buyers were not satisfied with the work, but not always.
That's why I created @indiedoers - a marketplace where creators can sell their digital assets and services all in one place. This way, buyers can buy the assets they need and also hire creators for freelance work. I strongly believe that the digital product and freelancing industry is a multi-million dollar market, and I am confident that we can capture a big share of it.
What I can provide: Most of the technical side, future ideation, project features, and ideas for growth and marketing.
What I am looking for in a co-founder: someone with expertise in marketplaces or a keen interest in this space, who can help spread the word about @indiedoers through all media channels, writing articles, newsletters, tweets, and consulting with sellers. Ideally, they would be the "face" of the Indiedoers marketplace.
Marketplaces are tricky, and I am aware of this. That's why I can't do it alone, and I need someone who can help me push it off the ground and grow it. If you're interested or know someone who might be, please let me know. Any recommendations are also welcome!
