"Share your story, build your community"
Hi I’m David, founder of Owesome. And I’m seeking a co-founder who can lead the technical side, while I focus on Product, Design, Fund raising, Marketing, and Operations.
Owesome is a peer-to-peer rental platform where neighbors not only share items instead of buying new, but also build stronger bonds and community.
The problem is clear: people often buy items they rarely use, leading to wasted money and storage.
We connects people to share items—from baby gear to leisure equipment—saving money and reducing waste.
My vision is to make renting an essential, everyday act of sharing in every city worldwide and to connect every neighbor through rental.
What matters me the most is not only technical ability, but character.
I value genuine passion for work, patience, grit and positive energy.
Above all, I seek a co-founder passionate about create real impact on this journey.
I’m willing to work with someone whom I’d gladly give half the equity, vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff.
I want to embark on this great journey with someone ready to devote themselves wholeheartedly to their passion.
If this resonates, let’s connect and discuss whether our values align. Feel free to reach out to me!
Nice idea. Are you looking mainly for a tech co-founder or someone to share product ownership with too?
Grateful for this community! What features would you love in a peer-to-peer rental platform? Share your ideas, and let’s shape the future of sharing!
I'm excited to connect with potential co-founders! I'm generally available for calls next week to discuss our shared vision. Please reach out via email or book a slot directly on my Calendly to start the conversation!

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in Owesome. I appreciate your offer and the impressive work your company does across various industries. However, we’re currently in the pre-launch phase and focused on minimizing expenses, including avoiding outsourcing costs for now. I’m not sure if your solutions would be the right fit for us at this stage, but I really appreciate your enthusiasm.
