Seeking advice for user acquisition

Hello all, we recently launched Duo for couples to find their community. We've posted about this on Reddit (only to get banned) and on other apps like Nextdoor. Any advice on how we can acquire more users?

It's better to start such project when you already have 20+ couples ready to network. Then they like the experience and grow this community. Funnily, now you have to figure out where to find couples to match your users with other couples. As you're growing an offline thing - go to all mindfulness / wellbeing meetups, connect with people, pitch what you do and invite them once they get excited.

So we have done the things you've mentioned before launching & now we have ~100 users on the platform. However, we're not able to get new users on a consistent basis, unless we keep posting on other platforms. Is this expected? We expect referrals to be tricky here as users who join the platform don't have a community, so they won't be able to share the experience with others in similar stage.
