Seeking an AI startup founder who wants their business to grow

This is pretty relevant to where I'm at. I've built an AI founder evaluation product and have a working site, demo and payment flow, but acquisition is where I'm currently stuck. I've deliberately stepped back from building more features and am now trying to figure out what actually gets the right founders to try it. I'd be interested in hearing what you're thinking.

Focusing on acquisition without a clear differentiator makes standing out in the AI space very difficult.

Is the sky blue? Does a bear $*%# in the woods? AI coding agents have made building the app/concept the easy part. Marketing is the true long game, and much harder than most (including me) realized going into this.

Digital receipts that actually work for your business (not just a paper trail)

Every time a customer walks out with a paper receipt, that's it — you've lost them. No way to reach them again, no idea if they're a repeat customer, no real data on what's driving your sales.

I'm building a platform that turns every receipt into a digital touchpoint:

Digital receipts — clean, branded, sent via link or card tap instead of (or alongside) paper
Built-in loyalty — repeat customers get recognized and rewarded automatically, no separate app or card
Customer dashboard — a simple visual view of who's buying, when, and what's trending
AI insights — plain-language nudges, like flagging customers likely to churn or your actual peak hours
Plugs into what you already use — sits on top of existing POS/billing, so there's no rip-and-replace
Scales — works for a single location or multiple branches

The bet: business owners shouldn't need enterprise software or a data analyst to understand their own customers. Digitizing something they already do (printing receipts) should be enough.

Half the comments under this are founders saying some version of "the product exists, I can't do distribution alone", which is the most common gap on this whole forum. Good on you for offering the other side of it.

Since it's directly relevant, I'm building CoBuildr for exactly this situation: you post the role you're missing, someone applies, and you run a short trial together, a week up to three months, before any commitment. Building it solo alongside a full time job, so I know this gap from the inside. Opens publicly in early August. Happy to share more if any of the folks in this thread want it, but mostly, this thread is a good reminder that the missing skill is almost never the product.

I am struggling to get response on product market fit survey. I am trying to fill the gap in understanding of contract financial risks. I sent the email to my known persons and when I discussed it with them, they said yes, it is something which is missing, and SMBs and Startups are feeling the heat.

I applied for investment with one of the family VC and the feedback I received that this is something which is very new to market, but they invest only in those startups which are having revenue and seeing some growth.

The current setup is manual process with help of AI tools, but future outlook is to make AI SaaS solution which will provide user to get reports instantly.

Not an AI startup today, but that's the direction we're heading. I run itscloudhub — LaunchStack (an Azure infra generator: Terraform/Helm/CI-CD from a wizard) is the first product, with AI-assisted stack recommendations and copilot features planned once the core platform's validated with real users.

Hey Timothy, this timing is perfect. I'm a CS student currently trying to validate product-market fit for Kognit, a tool built to stop CRM data decay by automatically updating records and scoring intent so AEs don't have to touch manual entry.

I am keeping my head down on validation before I lock myself in a room to write the backend code this month. My biggest fear is building a vitamin instead of a painkiller.
