Seeking co-founder experiences
I am about to start a search for a co-founder for an existing startup and am looking for others to talk to who can help me refine my plan before I launch my search.
Specifically, I am looking to talk to those who:
- Brought a co-founder onboard at least 6 months after founding
- Were a co-founder brought onboard at least 6 months after founding
- Have strong opinions on what to do to make it work / things to avoid
Questions I want to explore:
- How did you convince your co-founder to join (or how were you convinced)?
- How did you vet your co-founder (or how did you vet the startup you were joining)?
- What are you doing today to maintain your relationship?
Plus, any other advice that may be relevant. If anyone has used Slicing Pie when bringing on a co-founder, I'm also interested in how that has been working out.
