Seeking co-founder for a B2B SaaS

Hey everyone, I'm finalising the sale of my indie SaaS and moving on to my next project.

I've (painfully) come to the conclusion I work much better with a partner/co-founder and would love to meet some folks in a similar position to me, who have a complementary skillset, and would be looking to partner up on a project. Co-founder dating if you will :)

The first version of the product is built and is ready to launch. I have the first free beta users lined up ready to go. The product is "validated" in the sense it's in a category with proven demand and is more or less at parity with the core features of other platforms, with some differentiators.

It's a B2B SaaS in the "employee advocacy" category - for B2B sales, marketing, and HR teams to help them enable and encourage their teams to be more active on social platforms like Linkedin.

A bit about me:

  • I currently have a full time job as a product manager.
  • I would like to bootstrap at first to gain initial traction, but ultimately get funding for this startup and go full time on it.
  • I'm based in Australia (but you wouldn't have to be).
  • Tech stack is Rails and some JS
  • I'm somewhat technical but not a highly skilled developer (probably at junior level). Code is written by a contractor but I know what's going on.
  • My career background is mainly in sales and customer success at software companies like Microsoft and Meltwater, with a recent career pivot into product.
  • My Linkedin: https://linkedin.com/in/simoncthompson

Whether you're technical or non-technical, if this lines up with what you're looking for let's talk!

    Hi Simon, just few questions:

    • For a background or interest fit: what is the problem and the solution that your software addresses?
    • For a technical fit: what is the main backend language and the frontend framework?
    • For knowning more about you: what's your LinkedIn profile?

    Thank you.
