Seeking cofounder for food ordering kiosk idea

I once tried to deal with takeaway restaurants. Many are soooo low tech. I read in the early days the founder of takeaway dot com visited takeaways 5 times before they signed up. And chains may look for an established solution. Before investing time I would really speak to lots of takeaways if that is a problem looking for a solution.

Sorry to be blunt, but I fear if that is or will be problem for takeaways, Uber eats, takeaway or deliveroo can set this up in a week, and they have already established contacts. Or any pos software they use can offer it too.

This said, I think you can build a pretty prototype easily with typeform.

If you like the sector, maybe something better simpler than deliverect.

Is this country pacific. Pointing out there football space in takeaways is a lot smaller than your average McDonald’s and Costa. Since almost all takeaways have spent on software many on deliveroo; ubereats; justeat costing them a an outlay.

Those who are not spending on internet providers to receive incoming orders is what you need to overcome! Not forgetting your not just offering a service but to know there business. Owners are a tight group to over come this hurdle is to build real trust and collaboration. Luckily having much of this covered in the field and know the owners personally is half battle won.

Just to add the closest software that makes license simpler is a platform called foodhub. Like the others but without paying for software just commission on each orders placed.

Do you know if local restaurants want this? This might make sense with takeout spots but not sit-down restaurants.
