Seeking Design Co-Founder for my AI Startup

Hi,

I'm the technical founder of basetalk.ai. At BaseTalk, we are using GPT to accelerate BI and Analytics workflows.

I'm looking for a design co-founder who is comfortable doing modern app designs like Intercom, Linear, Notion etc.

If you are passionate about analytics and/or AI and you are willing to commit full-time on an equity basis till we raise funding, let me know.

Plus points if you have marketing or sales experience.

    Hey aninkav,

Love the product idea wish this had been around a few years ago! I'm a Growth Marketer/Designer, with experience in B2B Saas software customer acquisition. Would love to chat!

Ah man I want to try this out! I had exact same idea a couple of weeks ago, found these guys in my research - https://youtu.be/96ZjbWcEi4Q

Have you considered mobile app? Could have a strong B2B play, think busy execs wanting to understand some key metrics without having to pull up a spreadsheet or PDF. Do the responses need to be visualised in a chart or can the insights be communicated another way, is there an opportunity for others close to the metrics to include some narrative (more like a conversation)

Challenges will be building trust in the results, providing accurate response based on interpretation of the prompt, start to take jargon and nomenclature into account, getting access to the data (if customers aren't devs).

I'm a designer and PM, shoot me a message on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/hairving/

That's very interesting what you mention about Akkio.

Not considered mobile app yet, but I haven't discounted it. That's an interesting proposal.

Accuracy of results is definitely a concern and I think its still a bit technical to use. So I am still targeting data analysts and planning to make their workflow much faster and easier. By using the training data we get from analysts, we can increase the accuracy and target execs directly.

I've sent you an invite on linkedIn. Let's chat on our discord here: https://discord.gg/ub7vKaC35r

Really cool product! I work with analytics like this literally on a daily basis as a data person. Let me know if there's any potential collab opportunity.

Thank you! For sure, we could definitely use the expertise of data people to fine tune the product.

Just DM me on our discord here, https://discord.gg/ub7vKaC35r and let's see how we can work together!

Is basetalk.ai for graph elements/tables where defog.ai is for excel functions, or very different?
Are you using open source tools ie datawrapper.de?
Is it designed to support crowd sourced multiple data-sets that are freshed on a scheduled basis?

defog seems to be for integrating Q&A into your app. It looks like a developer tool.

BaseTalk is a analytics tool. You can create dashboards and setup monitoring and alerts. You can investigate a data-set by doing transforms and drill downs. It's mainly for businesses who want to do self-service analytics.

Yes it can auto-refresh data sets.

This is I why I am looking to partner up with a designer :) So I can do a much better job explaining the product.

defog is analytics. not QA. Rather than having to know SQL, or excel functions, you can speak to it like you can with chatgpt. From my glance at basetalk, that is what I thought yours was doing.

        does basetalk.ai use open-source tools?
        can it work with datawrapper.de?
I ask as there are many many analytic tools but so far not found one that works seamless with datawrapper.de and the open source map tools.
