Seeking Product Landing Page Help

Here's a link to my website, Team2FA: https://team2fa.com/

I would appreciate feedback on the landing page and the product. The product has been available for some time now and was launched on Product Hunt, which resulted in about 300+ visitors during that week. In total, the website has had over 1k visits since its launch, but only 14 new accounts were created and 2 active subscriptions were made.

It is unclear whether the app has a poor explanation of its purpose, a complicated marketing page, or if it is simply not desired by users in general. Please provide any negative or positive feedback.

Simple and minimalistic design! I like it a lot!

Here are couple of thoughts I left on your page - https://visualdebug.com/show/team2fa.com

      Thank you for the feedback!

    Hi Maksim!

"We simplify the process of two-factor authentication for teams by providing a shared local phone number that forwards messages to a designated Slack channel for team members who require access."
It took me a couple of read to get an idea of the problem you're solving, and I'm still not clear.
Can you rephrase? Maybe brainstorm and test a few ways to explain what your product does?

And the first picture you have on your page doesn't help me understand your solution. It feels very generic. What is it meant to show?

Thank you, that is a very good point. There seems to be a lot of presumed knowledge about the product in the content writing. I'll try a few different versions to make it easier to understand and relate to.

Regarding the image, do you think a graphic that explains what we do for the customer would be better?

      1. 2

I'd make sure the images either speak for themselves or support associated content. What are you trying to show prospects? e.g. show at a glance how a particular use case is supported by your product; shine a light on a differentiating feature of your product

Site has a really nice design, I minimalistic dark theme that's going on.

One thing I couldn't figure out is how exactly would I access my number?

Another thing that's weird to me is that you mention "local" number, but in the pricing plan it says it's a US number, so I'm confused what exactly local means, since I'd expect that, if I'm for example in Serbia I'd get a local serbian number for 2fa purposes.

    Hope this helps!

Yea that is a great point I will update the wording around phone numbers. We currently do only service US numbers and provide a local number to the user (based on zipcode). My goal is to support more countries in the near future if there is enough interest.

Hey Maksim – does the product get you the auth code in a shared Slack channel vs through SMS on your own phone? I took me some time to figure out if that was the exact solution you're providing... so that might be signal for sub par conversion rates on your page...

If so, the question is if people experience a problem on getting that verification code that way aka why would they need that in a team chat?

Thank you for the reply! It is correct that the messages are currently being forwarded to Slack. Although I am hoping to add more integrations, I haven't done so due to the lack of interest.

The reason for building this was due to encountering phone number 2FA tied to personal phone numbers on small to medium sized teams, which locked out other users. This was the first step towards a solution that makes it easy to share 2FA notification codes with anyone in a private Slack channel.

Gotcha. Perhaps look into the size of the problem by talking to a few people you assume to be in your target audience. It sounds more like a 'feature' than a business to me personally but it might be an interesting starting point for something bigger.
