Seeking Second Tech Co-Founder for Remote Venture

Hello Everyone!

I hope this post finds you well. My name is Moritz, and I am currently on an entrepreneurial journey with my co-founder Dorian. We are based in the vibrant city of Münster, Germany, and we're thrilled to be working on our first project, RoboReimburse.com. Now, we're on the lookout for a second developer and an exceptional communicator to join us as the third founder in our venture.

About Us:
Dorian is a skilled full-stack developer with a fantastic personality and a background in PHP. He has been investing about 1.5 days per week in our current project, RoboReimburse.com, and plans to increase his commitment to 3 days per week starting in January 2024. RoboReimburse has generated a revenue of about 600,-€ so far. Meanwhile, I, Moritz, am a business generalist with 10 years of successful experience running an B2C online shop (2008-2018, www.gold4sms.de, USP: mobile phone payments using the phone's credit balance in Germany). My best year with that online shop was 2015 with over 1.5 million euros in revenue. I eventually sold the project in 2018. Over the past year I have accumulated some experience with B2B Sales as well. I am currently dedicating myself full-time to our entrepreneurial endeavors.

Dorian and I are both from Münster, Germany. We make it a point to work together in person at least 1 day per week. I believe this is an advantage, it makes us more productive and improves our chances of success over your random co-founders from around the world.

Our Vision:
As we navigate the waters of our first project, we are eager to explore new business opportunities with the addition of a second developer. Both Dorian and I have a wealth of experience in e-commerce and online shops, making it a natural starting point for our next venture. However, we are open to any B2B or B2C project. I also have experience with interviewing CEOs about their problems to work out a new business case (this was our process with roboreimburse.com).

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a second developer who shares our passion for moving fast and who excels in communication. The new co-founder can work remotely, and we believe that great communication is key, regardless of location.

Potential Ideas:

  • Competitor for Cartoonely.com. This platform offers the service of artists drawing uploaded photos in anime style. The idea is to leverage AI to provide a similar service, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional artist commissions.
  • Invoicing service for Webflow (and maybe other platforms?)
    Proof of demand
Current competition: Astroic (very new) and PamBill (very ugly)
  • API/product for newsletter referral rewards
  • Gamified blockchain payment app like plutus.it
  • your ideas?

Let's build something amazing together!

Hey Mortiz, I recently built Givr.ai and I am interested in taking on another technical project. The invoicing service for Webflow sounds interesting. Are you still looking for another technical partner?
