What I'm working on >> a social curation platform, focused first on movie/show content, later extending to podcasts, games, books, music, restaurants, etc. Picture a platform like Reelgood or JustWatch, but centered much more on personalized curation and social features, and eventually expanding cross-domain.

Why I'm working on it >> to solve an annoying problem that continues getting worse - there are an overwhelming number of options to choose from and no efficient way to make personalized, shareable choices.

What I've done >> developed detail specs and mock-ups for a V2 prototype to test key features and show to potential cofounders/investors. My V1 prototype used an excel based curation algorithm, which a colleague has translated to python. A part time dev made progress on data aggregation back-end, though I've paused them for now (code can potentially be leveraged).

Where I want to go >> the mid-term goal is to capture users' trust to help them make personalized, shareable decisions. There are gigantic long-term opportunities if successful.

Who I am >> CPA background with seven years in public accounting, starting in audit and finishing in M&A (due diligence). I left my job two years ago and was involved with another startup while the foundation for this idea was still forming.

What I'm looking for >> to explore with anyone interested to work on the prototype, and continue developing connections leading to a technical cofounder(s).
