Selling access to BI Tools
I have a two part question.

Does anyone know of a product/company that sells access to a BI Dashboard. E.g. a product that connects to an API and surfaces information through a BI Dashboard back to the user and has this monetized?

Regarding BI Tools. What are your favs? I have some experience with PowerBI, Zoho, Yellowfin, Metabase and BIME. Wondering if there are other BI Tools out there that IHs love?
Are you thinking of making another BI tool.
I’m a big fan of PowerBI (I’m biased because I was one of the first 20 engineers who built it)
There are some great ideas in there but like any MIcrosoft tool it’s way more complex than it needs to be.

No I am not thinking of making another BI Tool. Instead I am looking combining and curating data from a couple of APIs and making this available to users through a BI Dashboard. In particular, looking at financial data.
I am therefore on the lookout for a BI Tool in which viewer licenses are small/affordable. If I am not mistaken, the likes of PowerBI and Tableau have incredibly expensive viewer license.
Well ... the reason I quit my job last Friday is to go on an Indie Hacker path and build a simple, affordable and very easy to use analysis tool / interact with data.
But before you wait for months for an Orows.com prototype, you should check out MetaBase. It’s a self serve BI tool that works with a number of databases.
