Selling researched lists as a business?
I remember seeing some Indie Hackers selling researched lists as a business, but I searched the forums and can't find it anymore.
Example:
- 100 websites to help you find a startup job
- 30 best crypto investors on Twitter to follow for trading tips
Can anyone share examples of IndieHackers doing this? Would love to share notes with them.
I think the person I found before was doing it around Web3/Investing/Entrepreneurship/etc
Explodingtopics is research as a service basically. Maybe also tweethunter (has a list of swiped tweets that have performed good, but it's just one of the smaller features of it).

I agree with @divby0, research is a service, so in principle, it has the right to life. Although on the other hand, it is only for cheap traffic. Easy to create a product - easy to get cheap traffic.
The problem is that it becomes a marker of something simple and not of high quality. Any lists for me are at the "Gradient Gallery" level, or "Notion Templates". In fact, they're actually very useful at times, but because it's not that hard to do, there are thousands of them, and the competition doesn't make the product better. Makers only come for fast and almost free traffic or some kind of income from it.

Yes, I'm leaning toward doing it manually every month, and pro-rating them for the first month, and then batch sending on the first of every month.
