Send a personal email or go through Convertkit?

Hi there, long-time stalker, thanks for having me!

I make the app https://whena.re and I am currently looking into monetizing the app with premium features.

I have a lot of users, some of them have pages visited 100+ times a week.
I'm on my way to send a few dozen emails to my most active users to ask:

• More questions about how they use the app, and
• Ask if they want to beta test my premium version.

I am writing these emails personally so I was going to send them through my regular company email,

but as I was going to click send I wonder, is it safer to go through convertkit?

I've never interacted with these people directly, I'd hate having all my messages go to spam.

Have you tried this before? How do you usually do this?
