Send personalized messages over Whatsapp with templates

I use Whatsapp constantly for communication with Family, friends, and even sometimes for work. Compared to other social media platforms I find that it's a lot more personalized, and a message notification from Whatsapp is always one of the most important things I'd check.

It's quite often that I want to reach out to family & friends on occasions, but it's very tedious writing out almost the same message with a different name for each contact, but unless I do that, it's very easy to tell if a message is broadcasted to multiple people, and at least for me, that doesn't feel the same.

So I have built a solution that I use personally where I can write a message template, define the list of contacts I need to send that template to, and it sends a custom message for each contact with their personal information (the I can edit). it's also possible to extend this a bit to schedule those messages. The catch is, the approach I'm using currently only works as a desktop app (in Electron), and the user has to have the app open to send the messages, so it's not complete autonomous yet.

Would this be a product you're interested in ? I can also imagine this extending easily beyond my family & friends use case, to things like marketing and such, but I also don't want to be violating any Whatsapp rules, i.e the app will have rate limiting to prevent spamming and things like that. I'm open to ideas and suggestions as well : )
