AWS SES is pretty cheap and easy to use, it provides 62k emails per month for free: https://aws.amazon.com/ses/pricing/

Agreed. I see AWS is always a tough competition :)
But well, it doesn't support sending emails from a JavaScript (Front-end) applications, yet. That is where Emailyt.com comes in..
Sure, but there's a good reason for that. It isn't secure to send emails from a website. It would immediately be abused.
Unless I am missing something, I've checked and handled several points in the app that can mess up things. I got it verified by a few friends in the web security domain. Its just that I am trying to update the verbiage on the website which can talk better about security.
