SEO Question: Same Back-End, Different Content and Domain, Will It Affect SEO?

We've been working on our page's SEO, and we haven't seen much increase of a traffic. Our team thought of possible ways why, but one of the main thing we thought of is because of our 'sister company,' who uses the same program or back-end.

Basically, we have the same logo maker software, but the only thing different is our web domain, landing page, and regular content.

Do you think it affects the traffic coming from our website, or not at all. If it's the latter, do you have any suggestion in mind?

    1. SEO is about what frontend is serving to users. Google doesn't see what a user is doing after login to your system.

    2. To build better authority create blog content on example.com/blog and in all important article add link pointing toward root domain.

    3. It will affect SEO only if you're redirecting your users to some dashboard or login system on another domain.
For example, Imagine example1.com is your mai landing homepage. A user clicks on login or signup and it redirects to example2.com for signup. Then it affect your seo.
      Google doesn't like instant redirect.
