I have 2 websites:
I merged the two products to create a bundle and chose to promote UserBooster.
To give you more context, STW is a list of 400+ places to post your startup, and UserBooster is a Notion template that gives you the strategy to post to these places.
I merged the two so you can buy the Notion only, or the Notion with the list
I'm working on the SEO of UserBooster with a blog and backlinks.
Should I redirect spreadtheworld to Userbooster, as I don't promote STW anymore but it's still have some nice backlinks?
I suggest you create a separate page for "400+ places to post your startup". Something like https://userbooster.co/spreadtheworld
Then redirect https://spreadtheworld.net/ (301) > https://userbooster.co/spreadtheworld
Google transfer page rank (PR) for a 301 redirect not domain rank (DR)
Does it mean the SEO will be higher if I create a separate page?
(Note: spreadtheworld is a one page website)
Google use over 200 ranking factors. Google can understand the product from content, as you are selling a totally different product in https://userbooster.co so it will not help much if you redirect https://spreadtheworld.net/ (301) > https://userbooster.co/
Instead, if you redirect https://spreadtheworld.net/ (301) > https://userbooster.co/spreadtheworld then you can utilize the PA score of spreadtheworld.net much more
yep, that's the most correct way to approach the issue
Exactly this.
Got it!
I'm working on it, thanks for the advice!
yup 301 is an essential step, coz there may be some sites that recommend your old address
It should boost my SEO because I'll get all the backlinks from STW right?
Is there any downside?
Yes you can easily do this.
